At 3,821 meters above sea level, this is the highest mountain in Costa Rica giving it breathtaking mountain views, a milder climate and a diverse array of wildlife and birds. Nature lovers, hikers and bird lovers cannot get enough of this area.

Chirripo means "land of eternal water" due the large number of rivers and waterfalls that reside here.
